The No Cost Spay/Neuter Program provides free spay and neuter surgery for companion cats of eligible low-income Calgarians. This initiative is designed to help reduce the number of stray cats in the community while supporting residents facing financial barriers to veterinary care. By participating in the program, pet owners can promote the health and well-being of their cats and contribute to responsible pet ownership in Calgary. At this time, the No Cost Spay Neuter Program is only open for cats due to overwhelming demand.

Eligibility for the SSHM program requires additional screening before services are provided. Someone from the program will contact you within 30 business days.
