Council and Committee webcasts

Start​ webcast

A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Through the use of your internet connection (either broadband or via a dial-up modem) and Windows Media Player, you can view live Council and select Committee meetings from the comfort of your own home on your PC and Apple Mac.

Windows Media Player

Closed captions are available on most Council Chambers LIVE webcasts. Windows Media Player version 9 or higher is required to display caption text.

Media Players vary in their support for closed caption text display. Microsoft Internet Explorer and updated Microsoft Windows Media Player are recommended to display closed caption text.

Download the latest version from Microsoft. We recommend you download and install Windows Media Player before attempting to open the webcast.

Mac users
