Ward 2Joe Magliocca

In October 2013, Joe Magliocca was elected to Calgary City Council representing Ward 2 in Calgary. Communities included in the Ward are Arbour Lake, Hawkwood, Citadel, Ranchlands, Hamptons, Sherwood, Nolan Hill, Sage Hill, Kincora, Royal Oak and Evanston.

Joe Magliocca’s strong community involvement is shown through his seven years on the Hamptons Community Association board, also serving as president of the board during that time. Continuously working to address and solve the residents’ concerns and issues of the community at both the district level and the broader City wide level as well.

Joe Magliocca is married to his wife Carol, and they have two daughters. Living in the Hamptons since 1999, the family’s strong community ties has given Joe a personal connection to the community and first hand knowledge of how best to represent and serve all of Ward 2. His past experience in the private sector has given Joe the experience and dedication to quality fiscally sound customer service, knowing he works for the residents of Ward 2 above all else.
