EDP
Calgary Assessment Review Board Evidence Disclosure Portal Demonstration
The Evidence Disclosure Portal, is now available to allow participants to upload their evidence and have it automatically shared with the Assessment Review Board (ARB) and the City of Calgary's Assessment Business Unit (City) in one simple step. Using the Evidence Disclosure Portal eliminates the need to submit documents manually to multiple parties.
The ARB continues to be independent from The City of Calgary. The ARB’s Evidence Disclosure Portal provides a streamlined way for citizens and businesses to participate in the assessment review process quickly and conveniently.
Users can upload their evidence and view submissions from The City related to their complaint. It allows larger file sizes so parties can submit whole files without needing to divide their files to accommodate the upload limits of emails; and, once evidence is submitted to the EDP system by a complainant or by the City, users will receive an email confirmation or notification.
For parties with multiple complaints, the new portal provides features to help improve the user experience, like filtering entries, notification of upcoming deadlines, and notification of disclosures from the other parties. Additionally, users are able to group multiple complaints together, save these groups and submit common evidence to grouped files.
What should I do now?
Users can access the Evidence Disclosure Portal through ePortal. There is a new way to access both of these systems using myID, a convenient online way for citizens to access multiple City services using a single electronic account.
If you have an existing myID account:
- Make sure your myID account uses the same email address you used to register with ePortal. Using the same email address is required to ensure that your complaint information from ePortal appears properly in the Evidence Disclosure Portal.
- If your myID account email address is different than the one used to log in to ePortal, go to the Account tab in myID, click on Edit profile, and change your email address to match your ePortal email address.
If you do not have an existing myID account:
- You can quickly create a new one by establishing a new username and password.
- Make sure your myID account uses the same email address you used to register with ePortal. Using the same email address is required to ensure that your complaint information from ePortal appears properly in the Evidence Disclosure Portal.
