Over 30 years experience as an assessor with the City of Calgary. Served on the Municipal Government Board for three years. Appointed to the Assessment Review Board in 2020. Holds Certificates in Real Property Assessment, Local Government Studies and Statistical Analysis.
COOLIDGE, K. Appointed 2020
Bachelor of Science in Biology and Juris Doctor of Law from the University of Calgary. Previously served on the Extrajudicial Sanctions Program Panel, the City of Calgary’s Licence and Community Standards Appeal Board and Assessment Review Board, and the Government of Alberta’s Ministry of Community and Social Services Appeal Panel and the Alberta Utility Commission.
CZECHOWSKYJ, A. Appointed 2020
A native Calgarian. Retired Accredited Assessor, Appraiser with 40 years experience in the assessment field with The City of Calgary Assessment Department and The City of Airdrie Assessment Department respectfully.
DAVIS, S. Appointed 2024
Shawn Davis, MBA, BAComs, APR, spent more than 20 years working in the consulting, not-for-profit and oil and gas sectors, leading the areas of Communications, Public Affairs, Stakeholder Consultation and Crisis Management. After obtaining her MBA in 2013 from Queen’s University, she transitioned into a new role, overseeing the corporate real estate portfolio of a Calgary-based pipeline company. This included constructing four new office buildings in the field, overseeing the build-out of several new floors in their downtown Calgary head offices, renegotiating and managing the company’s leases, as well as leading a team of facility and property managers. Before her retirement in 2022, Shawn also led the company’s HR Operations team, which included payroll, benefits, pension, Occupational Health and HR Advisory Services. Shawn has received numerous accolades for her work, including being named one of Oilweek Magazine’s Rising Stars and a People Power award by the United Way of Calgary and Area. Shawn is an Accredited member (APR) of the Canadian Public Relations Society and served on its Calgary chapter Board of Directors in numerous capacities including President. In her spare time, Shawn loves to travel, scuba dive, volunteer, and has recently discovered her love for making pottery. Shawn is excited about the opportunity to join the City of Calgary’s ARB and serve her community.
DHOOT, J. Appointed 2020
Inderjot (JT) Dhoot is a native Calgarian and Founder and Principal of Omnis Valuations & Advisory Ltd., a boutique consulting firm providing commercial real estate advisory, business valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation support services. Mr. Dhoot earned his Bachelor of Applied Financial Services degree from Mount Royal University and is an Accredited Appraiser (AACI), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), Corporate Director (ICD.D), and a graduate of the Master of Forensic Accounting (MFAcc) program at the University of Toronto. Mr. Dhoot has also completed formal training programs through the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Institute of Canada and the Foundation of Administrative Justice (FOAJ).

Holds LL.M. (Taxation) and JD degrees from New York University School of Law and is registered (inactive) with the New York State Bar. Also holds BA from Pomona College in California and certificate in third party mediation from the University of Calgary/Justice Institute of BC. Has held executive finance positions in the energy, technology, and pharmaceutical industries, and has served on corporate and civic boards.

Bachelor of Law from the University College of Cardiff (now called University of Wales). Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan. Retired member of the Law Society of Alberta. Experience in many fields including Wills and Estates, real estate, and civil litigation.
HARGAN, A. Appointed 2023
Alanna holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Athabasca University; AACI (Retired) designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada; and A.M.A.A. (Retired) designation from the Alberta Assessors Association. Her real estate appraisal work experience includes 30 years as a landman and senior assessor with The City of Calgary representing The City before various tribunals including the Assessment Review Board. For three years post retirement, she represented taxpayers before the Assessment Review Board.
KIRYCHUK, L. Appointed 2022
Lauren has a B.A (Economics) and B.Sc. Agriculture (Economics) from the University of Saskatchewan. M.Ed. from the University of Calgary. AACI (retired). 30+ years experience in appraisal, assessment, agricultural finance, and post-secondary administration and instruction.
KLIMUK, S. Appointed 2016
Resident of Calgary since 1966, now retired from membership in the Calgary Real Estate Board (in residential, commercial, and rural fields of practice). Past experience has included management in: Resort planning, development, and construction; New Home sales and construction; Golf Course design and construction; Residential, Industrial, & Commercial Land Development; Municipal Planning including Long Range Plans, Pocket Developments, and Recreational Facility Development Plans . BSc in Architecture and Construction – 1973.
LENSEN, G. Appointed 2020
After a full career in the RCMP, Mr. Lensen retired in 1996 as the Audit Officer for the RCMP in British Columbia. Upon leaving the RCMP, George completed his MBA and served as a senior executive in high-tech companies. George also founded and operated an “At Risk Youth” facility helping young people successfully integrate into the fabric of Canadian society and founded, taught, and managed a successful non-denominational values-based K-12 school in Kelowna with approximately 177 students.
More recently, George was the founder and owner of two bio-pharmaceutical companies in Alberta and BC. George also served as a Director for the Kelowna Regional District Planning Advisory Board, Director for the Calgary RCMP Veterans Association Board, Director for the National RCMP Veterans Association Board, Calgary Assessment Review Board, and worked on the Professional Standards Board for Calgary Real Estate Board. Mr. Lensen is currently a Manager of Tink Real Estate in Calgary.
LOACH, B. Appointed 2015
Brian was an Appeals Commissioner for the Alberta Appeals Commission for Workers' Compensation from May, 2003 until the end of April, 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and FCMA. Prior to working with the Appeals Commission, Brian worked in various capacities with The City of Calgary including City Treasurer and Director of Finance. He has served on various Boards, including the Calgary Housing Company, The Calgary Parking Authority and the Calgary Booster Club. As a professional accountant he has also served as Chairman for the Calgary Chapter of the Society of Management Accountants and participated in the Society's discipline and professional conduct hearing process.

MCKEE, R. Appointed 2022
Rick McKee, a native Calgarian, is an alumnus of both the University of Victoria and the University of Calgary. Rick has practiced law in Calgary since 1985. A litigator throughout his career he has in addition to private practice served in leadership positions in such organizations as the Alberta Energy & Utilities Board and ENMAX Corporation. Rick continues to actively practice law, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel for Inhaus Legal LLP. In addition to the practice of law he has served as a part time Instructor at SAIT. During his career Rick has extensive experience before and with administrative tribunals and has appeared at all levels of Court including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Licensed in 1983 and specialized in residential real estate and asset recovery. Director of CREB for 6 years: 2014-16 CREB Treasurer, CREB Governance Committee, Government Liaison Committee, Chair of CREB Economic Recovery Task Force 2021-22. Currently appointed Ad Hoc to Alberta Real Estate Association and member of Nominating Committee. Executive Committee of Children's Hospital Aid Society. Accredited Public Speaker.

Ejeme is a practising lawyer called to the Alberta Bar in 2015. She also practiced law internationally prior to relocating to Canada. She holds an LLB Law with Economics degree and an LLM degree in Commercial Law. Her current practice serves Albertans in the Calgary and the surrounding regions in the areas of Real Estate Law, Business Law and Wills and Estates Law. She is active member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) and regularly serves as an Assessor at the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPLED).

Graduate of the University of Calgary and Certified Residential Appraiser (CRA) with the Appraisal Institute of Canada, with over 25 plus years of experience. President/Owner of a private appraisal company specializing in the appraisal of urban, suburban and acreage properties in Calgary and surrounding areas. Served on various tribunals and boards at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels. Active member in both personal and professional circles within the Southern Alberta community.
