Haskayne Legacy Park: Grand Opening
This Saturday, we invite all residents to join us for the grand opening of Haskayne Legacy Park, Calgary's newest 126-acre regional park. On September 16th, bring your family and friends to enjoy live music, a free pancake breakfast, speeches, wagon rides, informative display tables, park tours, and more! This event is a chance for everyone to connect with nature and enjoy our beautiful landscape as the autumn chill fills the air.
Haskayne Legacy Park is a space where families can come together and appreciate the stunning natural surroundings. Explore traditional western ranchlands set against the backdrop of breathtaking mountain and prairie vistas. Discover over 14 kilometers of Bow River and Bearspaw Reservoir banks, providing a peaceful escape for residents to enjoy.
This park opening is more than an event; it's an invitation to embrace nature, celebrate our community, and create lasting memories. We look forward to welcoming you on this special day as Haskayne Legacy Park opens its gates to become a beloved part of our city's natural landscape.
