Important information
Due to personal and family reasons, Richard Pootmans has stepped down from his position as Ward 6 Councillor.
The Ward 6 office remains dedicated to supporting your communities. For your day-to-day concerns, including requests around City services, please continue to reach out or contact 311.
If matters need to be escalated to a Councillor, the Ward 6 team will pass it along to the appropriate representative based on your community.
Representatives who will be supporting your interests in any matters coming before Council are:

- Councillor Kourtney Penner

Councillor Sonya Sharp
Ward 1Councillor Sharp will provide support to the following communities Medicine Hill, Canada Olympic Park, Cougar Ridge, West Springs, Aspen Woods, Springbank Hill, Discovery Ridge.

Councillor Courtney Walcott
Ward 8Councillor Walcott will now provide support to Patterson, Wildwood, Coach Hill, Spruce Cliff, Strathcona Park, Westgate, Christie Park, Signal Hill, Glendale, Glenbrook, Glamorgan.

Ward 11Councillor Penner will now provide support to Tsuut’ina Nation.
