Canada Day 2025
On July 1, gather downtown to celebrate Canada Day. This year’s free and family-friendly celebration features an Indigenous Spotlight and Powwow, live music and will end with a fireworks show above Stampede Park. Other attractions throughout the day include cultural activities, performances, face painting, a street fair and more.

Call for cultural groups
We invite local non-profit cultural groups to share their heritage and traditions through an interactive activity or by showcasing their cultural clothing at our Canada Day celebrations. Due to limited space, only one submission per group will be accepted.

Call for food vendors
We are accepting applications for food/beverage vendors to join our Canada Day celebrations. Due to limited space, only one submission per food/beverage vendor will be accepted with priority given to local vendors.
Apply by 4 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025

- Cultural Carousel - Cultural clothing spotlight
Olympic Plaza will not be an event location for Canada Day 2025 due to the Olympic Plaza Transformation. It includes a full redesign of the plaza as an innovative, flexible and active space in the downtown core.
