Dance classes
Benefits of learning dance
Learning dance will help you move your body to its full potential and build your confidence, strength, balance and flexibility. You will feel the rhythm of the music and learn why music plays an important role in dance.
Dance is a form of expression and communication that has been present in cultures around the world for thousands of years.
By immersing yourself in dance and losing yourself in the music, you can begin to feel more present in the moment and leave your worries behind.

What are classes like?
You will learn from expert dance instructors in an inclusive, fun and positive atmosphere. Classes prioritize skill building and joyful self-expression in a non-competitive and learning focused environment. Instructors will modify techniques as necessary to ensure all students are participating to the best of their ability.
Classes usually begin with warm-up activities and a review of previous learnings. Each week you will build on techniques by learning new concepts or choreography. Classes may involve composition, improvising and cool down activities. Class length is determined by age group:
- All adult classes are 60-90 minutes long
- Kid and teen classes are 60 minutes long
- Preschool classes are 45-60 minutes long
