City of Calgary playgrounds
Playgrounds are safe spaces where children can make new friends and engage with peers. They help establish language and motor skills, build social skills, encourage physical activity and more.
Playgrounds are also welcoming public gathering places bringing people together, encouraging connection and building a sense of community.
The City of Calgary manages and maintains more than 1,100 playgrounds.
