2025 league update and requirements
League update
Some changes are coming as we aim to create a fairer, more accessible golfing environment for everyone.
Why are we making the changes?
We're making changes to ensure everyone gets a chance to enjoy the city's beautiful courses and:
- more efficient management of tee times
- increased opportunities for public players
- reduced waiting lists for league participation
- a structured application process that helps leagues optimize their play.
What's new?
- New application process: For existing leagues.*
- Participation limit: Golfers will be limited to participating in only one league in City of Calgary golf courses, which include Confederation Park, Lakeview, Maple Ridge, McCall Lake (18 & Par 3) and Shaganappi Point (18 & Valley 9). This limit also applies to spare lists.
- League user fee: The fee will be $2 per timeslot, paid in advance by the league.
*We are not accepting requests for new leagues or recurring tee time blocks at the moment.
Requirement for all league players
All players must have an active golf account before April 30, 2025.
- Create your golf account (if you do not have one)
- Update your contact information: Ensure your contact details are up-to-date and match the information you provide to your league.
If you do not have an account by April 30, you may be removed from the schedule, and your spot will be released for public play.
Have questions or need assistance? Please visit any of our courses when they open for the season. Our clubhouse team will happily assist you.
Golf league information
- Leagues playing City courses are operated by individual executive committees. Please contact the league for specific information, guidelines, cancellation and no-show rules.
- League season is between May 1 and August 31.
- Peak season start times are listed under the league information below. As daylight hours change, league tee times may be adjusted.
- League players must follow all guidelines provided by the administration and league executive.
