Ward maps, profiles and research

Ward maps

Online map

  • Type an address in the search box on the map where it says "find address or place." Select an address from the pop-up list or click on the magnifying glass search icon to search. The map will zoom into the address.
  • Use the zoom icons ("-" and "+") in the bottom right corner to zoom in and out and see other ward boundaries. Click and drag to move the map around.

PDF maps

All ward maps are 11 by 17 inches (or two sheets of 8.5 by 11 inches) unless otherwise indicated. Ward boundaries data in other formats (i.e. CSV, KML and Shapefile) is also available on The City of Calgary’s Open Calgary data portal.

Community maps

Detailed community maps are available for purchase via City Online. Each map includes addresses, land use districts, streets and street names, buildings, parks and schools. Note: the purchase is for an electronic PDF file, not a paper map.

Public school board trustee wards

One trustee is elected for each of the following:

  • Wards 1 and 2
  • Wards 3 and 4
  • Wards 5 and 10
  • Wards 6 and 7
  • Wards 8 and 9
  • Wards 11 and 13
  • Wards 12 and 14

Separate school board trustee wards

One trustee elected for each of the following:

  • Trustee Ward 1 - City of Calgary Wards 1 and 2 and Cochrane 
  • Trustee Ward 2 - City of Calgary Wards 3 and 5 
  • Trustee Ward 3 - City of Calgary Wards 4 and 7 and Airdrie 
  • Trustee Ward 4 - City of Calgary Wards 6 and 8 
  • Trustee Ward 5 - City of Calgary Wards 9 and 10 and Chestermere 
  • Trustee Ward 6 - City of Calgary Wards 11 and 12 
  • Trustee Ward 7 - City of Calgary Wards 13 and 14

Profiles and demographics

Ward profiles

Ward profiles provide information about the population living in private households in each ward such as, age, education, employment and income. The profiles are based on data from the 2021 Census of Canada.

Community profiles

Calgary’s community profiles provide information about the population living in private households in each community from the 2021 Federal Census. The Federal Census is conducted every five years.
