Solar projects at The City
These solar projects are strategic investments which support The City’s economic and climate resilience. Solar projects have been developed with funding support from The City and provincial and federal grant funding programs.
The City’s investments in solar reduce utility costs and decrease greenhouse gas emissions. For large scale solar projects, The City targets a payback period between 10 - 12 years depending on the project type.
