Winter features - Prairie Winds

Free leisure skating rink

Enjoy free outdoor skating on the rink in the southwest quadrant of the park, north of the cricket pitch from December to mid-March (weather dependent). Helmets are strongly encouraged. Hockey sticks, nets, toboggans and sleds are not allowed on the ice. Please stay off the ice while it is being cleared or flooded.  

Skating hours: 5 am to 11 pm daily (weather permitting)
