If you are between the ages of 15 - 24 and are looking for a job that makes an impact. Join us for a virtual Q & A with The Dollar Detectives Society on Thursday, February 27 from 4 to 5 p.m. 

The Dollar Detectives Society is an innovative, youth-focused, not-for-profit social enterprise. Our primary vision is to deliver fun experience based financial life lessons which enhance youth’s financial confidence, leadership and sense of self-determination. Our holistic program is uniquely designed to support the overall well-being of youth ages 13 to 25. They help address social and educational issues through our own self-generated revenue model reducing our dependence on government funding.  100% of revenue generated goes toward offering free community events, supporting in-house mental health programs and providing meaningful employment and training for individuals who may face barriers to employment.

This Way ONward is a skills training and networking program to help youth ages 16-24 land a job with Old Navy.

In 2024, This Way ONward will offer job training, store tours and opportunities to interview for employment with Old Navy throughout the year. This is great news for motivated youth ready to jump into employment. Youth can expect to attend a two-day workshop style training with opportunities for resume improvement, networking, Old Navy specific information, as well as an Old Navy store tour and a job interview with Old Navy Managers.

You can also come by the Calgary Youth Employment Center and connect with an Employment Counsellor to learn about other current programs, opportunities, and to access free employment services.
