It is the next step in Calgary’s renewal as a global city and international destination, as part of a total package that supports the downtown’s revitalization and recovery.
Investing in Scotia Place represents a forward-thinking approach that considers the needs of future generations. It is a legacy project that will benefit not only current residents but will serve as a place of gathering for generations to come, leaving a lasting impact on Calgary's landscape.
From concerts to sporting events, conferences to cultural festivals, the design offers a versatile space that can adapt to a wide range of activities, ensuring it remains relevant and vibrant as Calgary evolves.

The venue has been designed to adapt to Calgary’s changing climate, regardless of flood, heat, or hail. It can also transition to full electrification and meet zero emissions, both by 2050.
