Emergency response and enforcement
When we experience or witness criminal or dangerous behaviour our teams of bylaw, transit and police officers are there for protection. They are also there when people exhibiting dangerous behaviour also need help.
Additionally, in March 2024, a group of downtown leaders (the Downtown Safety Leadership Table) released 28 recommendations to support safety and vibrancy in Calgary’s downtown. A number of those recommendations were related to enforcement.
