Public spaces
The places we live, work and play in are what make Calgary a vibrant community. These spaces include parks, pathways, recreation centres, roads, and sidewalks, just to name a few. We're working to keep our public spaces open, accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Additionally, in March 2024, a group of downtown leaders (the Downtown Safety Leadership Table) released 28 recommendations to support safety and vibrancy in Calgary's downtown. A number of those recommendations support great spaces.
