Business support program

Dandy Brewing is one of the many businesses that will be located along the Green Line.

Green Line is dedicated to working with local businesses to plan ways to reduce the impacts that come with building such a significant infrastructure project.

Through our Business Support Program, the Green Line Community and Business Relations team will make sure you have what you need to prepare for and manage potential impacts from construction. They also work with project engineers and construction contractors to be responsive to issues and provide solutions, when possible, to concerns from the business community.

Business support program focus areas

Our business support program is built on four areas of focus:

  • Access Planning - Making sure safe access to impacted businesses is maintained as often as possible for the duration of construction.
  • Communications - Provide high quality, consistent and clear information so that stakeholders know what to expect from construction.
  • Community and Business Relations - Maintain regular contact with business owners so they feel informed, prepared, connected and supported as we work to deliver the Green Line LRT project.
  • Business Support Initiatives - Work with local impacted businesses to develop projects, events and programs to promote and encourage Calgarians to support business through construction.
